Tate Trip
As a class we visited the Tate Modern for a photography trip. We viewed exhibitions of street photographers, such as Harvey Callahan, William Eggleston and two others. Between our journeys we managed to take images with our cameras and in this case, i had my iPhone and iPod. I really enjoyed this trip because i thought it was a good experience that we should have and i thought it boosted my confidence more as i hadn't hesitated taking images of people close up. Although i wished i had more battery on my iPhone as it had more filters and better quality, also i thought a film camera would've been fun to use taking images.
This is one of my favourite images because i really like the vintage feel of the image because of the black and white filter and the composition the image of where the men are standing the scenery behind. Especially the way the men are dressed it just looks very 1930s with men dressed in suits and looking very dapper.
This was also one of my favourites because of the women moving the barrel tables. I remember trying to take several pictures of her during the trip. I guess people would think men should be moving things like that because it looks quite hard to handle but then you see a women trying to move and just think you really to capture it. I also like the man on the right and his shadow because the shadow is very sharp because the time of the day.
This is one of my favourite images because of the lady and the train. The train was moving quite fast and i managed to capture the women without it being blurred and the reflection of the lady in the train window wasn't as blurred even though the train was going quite fast.
